Staying in Delhi, one of my favorite places to visit is Agra. The city boasts of beautiful places to see including the Taj Mahal, along with delicious food, and handicrafts. Agra is a city located in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The journey from Delhi to Agra is very smooth and you have many options including Taxi, bus, and train to the amazing city. It is known for its many historical landmarks, including the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, and Fatehpur Sikri. The city is located on the banks of the Yamuna River and has a population of over 1.5 million people.

The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra, India. It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died during childbirth in 1631. The Taj Mahal is widely considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and is a symbol of love and devotion. The Taj Mahal is made of white marble and is adorned with intricate carvings and precious stones. It is situated on the banks of the Yamuna River and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The mausoleum is part of a larger complex that includes a mosque, a guest house, and other buildings.

The Taj Mahal is the most famous attraction in Agra. The Taj Mahal is made of white marble and is adorned with intricate carvings and precious stones. It is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 and took more than 20 years to complete. It is believed that over 20,000 workers, including skilled craftsmen from India, Persia, and Europe, were involved in the project. The Taj Mahal is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is visited by millions of tourists each year. It is open to the public from sunrise to sunset, and there is a nominal fee for admission.

In addition to its beauty, the Taj Mahal is also a testament to the enduring love story of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. It is a symbol of eternal love and is considered one of the greatest examples of Mughal architecture in the world.

Agra Fort is another popular tourist destination in the city. It is a large fort built of red sandstone and was the main residence of the Mughal Emperors. The fort is home to a number of palaces, mosques, and other buildings, and offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the Mughal rulers.
